We sell major home appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, and over-the-range microwaves. This is not a W-2 employee position. We are looking for an independent contractor or delivery team with their own truck, equipment, and experience handling large appliances. Responsibilities Pick up appliances from our store and deliver to customers' homes or businesses Provide drop-off delivery and installation service when needed Install major appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, and over-the-range microwaves Safely move appliances without damaging the product, customer's home, flooring, walls, or property Communicate professionally with customers during delivery and installation Inspect appliances before and after delivery and report any issues Handle haul-away service when requested Work with our store team to coordinate delivery schedules Keep delivery paperwork, photos, and customer confirmation records when needed Requirements Must have your own box truck or delivery truck Truck must have a liftgate Must have proper moving equipment, such as appliance dolly, straps, blankets, tools, and protective materials Experience delivering and installing major home appliances is required Must be able to move heavy appliances safely Must be reliable, professional, and on time Must have a valid driver's license and insurance Must be able to communicate clearly with store staff and customers Basic appliance repair or troubleshooting experience is a plus Experience testing appliances is a plus Ability to handle minor adjustments, parts replacement, or simple repairs is a plus Preferred Experience Appliance delivery and installation Refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher, gas/electric range, and microwave installation Basic appliance repair or troubleshooting Working with retail appliance stores, warehouses, or home delivery services Customer service experience Compensation Pay is based on each delivery and installation job. Rates may vary depending on distance, drop-off, installation, stairs, haul-away, and job difficulty. Schedule Flexible schedule based on delivery volume.
