In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of household appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably. Your mechanical aptitude, electrical expertise, and customer service skills will drive your success as you troubleshoot complex systems, interpret schematics, and perform repairs both in the field and in customer homes. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse appliances including refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and other major household equipment, all while providing top-tier service that keeps our customers satisfied and confident in their appliances. Duties Diagnose appliance issues by analyzing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform repairs on various appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, HVAC units, and other major household equipment. Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble appliances efficiently. Conduct field service visits to customer locations using a box truck or similar vehicle for appliance troubleshooting and repairs. Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to accurately identify fault sources and execute appropriate repairs. Assist with appliance assembly or installation when required, ensuring proper setup for optimal performance. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions to ensure transparency and quality control. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Knowledge of electrical systems and experience working with schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment is highly desirable. Prior experience as a delivery driver or operating a box truck is a plus for field service roles. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately while performing repairs. Basic assembly skills for installing or replacing appliances at customer sites.
