Duties Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and electrical testing tools to identify root causes efficiently. Perform repairs on residential appliances such as refrigerators, washer & dryer, stove, cooktop, oven, dishwasher with precision and care. Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances safely and effectively. Read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to guide repairs accurately. Conduct equipment assembly for new appliances or replacement parts as needed. Travel to customer locations using a box truck or field service vehicle to provide timely on-site repairs. Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, estimated timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for reporting purposes. Assist with delivery of appliances when required, ensuring safe handling and proper installation at customer sites. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all repair activities to ensure a secure work environment. Skills Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical blueprints with confidence. Solid mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to handle complex repairs across various appliance types. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions and build trust with clients during service visits. Experience working with refrigeration systems is highly desirable. Delivery driver experience with a box truck or similar vehicle enhances logistical efficiency. Familiarity with assembly processes for appliances or equipment setup is advantageous.
