Multimeters Full Job Description Lead Appliance Installation & Service Technician Location:
Macon, GA We are seeking an experienced Appliance Installation & Service Technician to join our growing team. This is not a delivery position. We specialize in installing and servicing premium residential appliances for homeowners, custom builders, and kitchen designers. Our technicians are known for exceptional craftsmanship, technical expertise, and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Install luxury built-in appliances including refrigeration, cooking, ventilation, dishwashers, laundry equipment, and outdoor kitchens Diagnose and repair residential appliances, including warranty and non-warranty service calls Troubleshoot installation and performance issues in the field Read installation specifications, cabinetry drawings, and manufacturer documentation Ensure every installation meets manufacturer requirements and local codes Perform appliance start-up, testing, and customer orientation Train and mentor apprentice installers Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, designers, and contractors Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment Deliver a five-star customer experience on every job Qualifications 5+ years of appliance installation and/or residential appliance service experience Experience servicing and installing premium appliance brands is strongly preferred Ability to diagnose electrical, plumbing, gas, ventilation, and mechanical appliance issues EPA certification for sealed refrigeration systems is a plus Manufacturer certifications (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Cove, JennAir, KitchenAid, Speed Queen, etc.) are highly desirable Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Strong customer service and communication abilities Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy appliances Minimum Highschool diploma or equivalent. Tech school or certifications a bonus.
