Appliance Repair Technician (Paid Training Provided)

Overview Making Mends LLC is hiring a full-time Appliance Repair Technician. No prior experience required. This is a long-term position with paid training and a clear path to higher pay and responsibility. Position Details Full-time, year-round (Monday-Friday) Based in Rexburg, ID (must reliably commute) Occasional optional after-hours/emergency work Small, growing local business with opportunity to grow into a lead role over time Pay $18/hr target rate after training (with performance-based increases) Short initial training period paid at a lower rate Rapid raises based on progress (most reach $18/hr within 30-60 days) Additional earning potential through performance/commission over time What You'll Do Diagnose and repair household appliances in customers' homes Communicate clearly and professionally with customers Follow company processes for service, parts, and job completion Learn quickly and take on increasing responsibility Training Paid online training + hands-on experience Ride-alongs → supervised work → independent service calls Ongoing coaching and skill development Requirements Reliable, full-time availability year-round Planning to live in the Rexburg area long-term Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn Professional, dependable, and self-motivated Preferred (not required) Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience What We're Looking For Long-term, dependable hire (not seasonal or temporary) Coachable and able to learn quickly Able to work independently after training To apply, submit your resume and a short note about your interest.
