Responsibilities Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and hands-on inspection to identify root causes effectively. Repair and service various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers with precision and attention to detail. Interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot complex equipment problems accurately. Perform appliance disassembly/reassembly, installation, maintenance, and repairs in customers' homes or designated work sites. Operate vehicle safely for on-site service calls. Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, maintenance tips, and safety procedures to enhance their experience. Maintain detailed service records, parts inventory, and documentation for each job performed to ensure quality control and accountability. Experience Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to household appliances and sealed system repairs. Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems and refrigeration repair techniques is highly desirable. Previous work in field service roles that require safe vehicle operation and customer interaction is a plus. Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment repair, assembly processes, and refrigeration systems enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally.

Pay:

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
