This role is critical to our customer experience and our long-standing relationships with builders, property managers, and homeowners. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in representing our company with professionalism and care. Position Overview As an Appliance Delivery & Installation Technician, you will be responsible for safely delivering, installing, and connecting household appliances while providing an exceptional customer experience. You will work independently in the field and serve as a trusted representative of Van's Home Center and our values. Key Responsibilities Deliver and install household appliances (refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers, dryers, etc.) Safely maneuver and position heavy appliances in homes and job sites Perform basic electrical and plumbing connections required for proper appliance installation Operate large box trucks safely and professionally (CDL not required) Protect customers' homes and job sites, including floors, walls, cabinetry, and fixtures Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, builders, and internal team members Complete deliveries and installations accurately, efficiently, and on schedule Identify and report any issues or concerns with installations or job sites Uphold Van's Home Center's standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction Qualifications & Skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Strong customer-service mindset; courteous, respectful, and professional Clean driving record and comfort driving large box trucks Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy appliances safely Basic electrical and plumbing experience related to appliance installation Detail-oriented and conscientious when working in customers' homes Dependable, punctual, and reliable Ability to represent Van's Home Center positively to our builder and residential clients What We Offer Competitive pay with bonus pay available based on performance.
