Full Job Description Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience performing sealed system repairs using Lokring and brazing. Candidates must be proficient in completing compressor replacements, sealed system leak repairs, and related sealed system work independently, without assistance. Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team in the Louisville KY area. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of sealed system experience and possess a strong background in appliance repair and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Prior experience with manufacturer and extended warranty companies is preferred. This role involves working directly with customers to provide exceptional service while ensuring that all appliances are functioning optimally. A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction is essential. Responsibilities Sealed System - Lokring and Brazing Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot appliance issues effectively. Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment. Provide field service support, including traveling to customer locations for appliance installations and repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition. Communicate clearly with customers regarding service details, repair options, and maintenance tips. Assemble appliances as needed during delivery or installation processes. Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Experience Lokring - Required Brazing - Required Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician is required. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC principles is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Electrical experience related to appliance repair is preferred. Knowledge of equipment repair techniques and assembly processes.
