In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances and some commercial appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction through expert service and reliable solutions. Responsibilities Diagnose appliance issues by interpreting schematics and technical manuals, identifying root causes efficiently. Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, microwaves, ice machines, etc using specialized tools and equipment. Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs or replacements. Assemble or disassemble appliances as needed for repair or replacement of parts. Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience. Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job to ensure accurate documentation. Skills Proven experience in appliance repair or related field service roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately. Solid mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to troubleshoot complex appliance issues. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and gas appliances is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
