  • Full-time Who We Are Byrd Appliance Specialists has been Shreveport's go-to appliance repair company since 2014.
We're not a franchise. We don't do home warranty work, factory warranty work, or any of the other low-margin, high-hassle work that burns technicians out. Every job we take comes directly from a customer who chose us — because of our reputation, our reviews, and the way we treat people. We've built something worth being part of, and we're looking for someone who can represent it. What the Job Looks Like You'll run a full route Monday through Friday out of a company-provided truck with a gas card. Our office handles all scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and customer communication — you show up, diagnose, and fix. First call is at 8:00 AM. Last scheduled call is 3:30 PM. No weekends. No on-call. Service area stays within 12 miles of Shreveport. We use a full-service field management system — everything runs through it, and the office keeps it moving. Your job is the repair. What You'll Earn This is a commission-based role with serious earning potential. Our top performers consistently earn into six figures. The structure is straightforward and transparent — we'll walk through the details in the interview, but the short version is: the better you are, the more you make. You won't be chasing warranty reimbursements or fighting with call centers. You'll be doing real repair work for real customers who are paying us directly. We pay twice a month — the 1st and the 15th. What We Expect Clean, professional appearance — we provide the shirts Your own hand tools A smartphone for our field software Punctuality and reliability — our customers count on it The ability to represent Byrd the right way in someone's home The Work Itself We repair all major household appliances across all major brands. No sealed system work. Three years of hands-on home appliance repair experience is required — not service call experience, not installation. Repair.
