ABOUT THE ROLE
We're a growing appliance service company building a dedicated installation division, and we need the right person to lead it from day one. This is a ground-floor opportunity. You'll set the standard, drive the truck, and train the team that follows you. This role is physically demanding. You'll move heavy appliances, including full-size refrigerators, solo using a dolly and professional moving equipment. If you've done this kind of work before, you know what it takes. If you're the type who figures it out and gets it done, we want to meet you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Deliver and install appliances in residential settings throughout the Shreveport area (15-mile radius) Operate a company box truck safely and professionally Unload large supplier orders and receive appliance shipments at the shop Set up shop appliances for technician evaluation Assist customers with appliance drop-offs and pickups at the shop Keep the shop and storage areas orderly and organized Train new installation employees as the division grows
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Demonstrated experience moving heavy equipment solo in a home or field setting (appliance delivery, home gym installation, furniture moving, HVAC equipment, or similar) Ability to safely move a full-size refrigerator using a dolly and moving equipment Clean driving record (MVR check required) Background check required Must provide own hand tools Friendly, customer-facing demeanor - you'll be representing us in people's homes Strong organizational skills and a pride-of-ownership mentality Leadership interest - you're not just looking for a job, you're looking to build something
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
Starting pay: $26 / hr 90-day performance review with path to $28 / hr Compensation is structured to reflect the absence of a traditional benefits package 40 hours per week, overtime available Monday through Friday, no weekends Company gas card provided Advancement to Installation Supervisor is a realistic path as the division grows
