Appliance Technician

Responsibilities Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently. Repair and maintain appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems with precision and attention to detail. Interpret electrical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems. Conduct equipment repairs both on-site at customer locations and in the field, ensuring timely completion of service calls. Assist with appliance assembly, installation, and testing to guarantee proper operation before customer handover. Utilize a box truck or similar vehicle for safe transportation of tools, parts, and appliances to job sites. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during every visit. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC components, electrical wiring, and electrical experience is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex appliance issues. Previous delivery driver experience or familiarity with operating box trucks is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair or assembly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks preferred.
