Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as a Residential Appliance Repair Technician where your mechanical expertise and passion for service directly impact homeowners' daily lives. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of household appliances in customers' homes, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your hands-on skills and technical knowledge help us deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive experience for every client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using schematics and technical manuals Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components with precision and attention to detail Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions to accurately identify problem areas Conduct equipment repairs efficiently in customers' homes Apply HVAC knowledge when addressing refrigeration or climate control-related appliance issues Operate a company service vehicle safely to reach job sites promptly and reliably Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction on every visit
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in appliance repair or related field service roles; service technician experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting complex systems Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals essential for accurate diagnostics Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC components is highly desirable Ability to read assembly instructions and perform equipment repairs confidently Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities Clean driving record, ability to pass background check and drug screen Smartphone proficiency (we run Housecall Pro)
WHAT WE OFFER

  • 31/hr base depending on experience Commission on revenue performance — top techs clear $80K+ $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days Monday-Friday schedule — protect your weekends Company truck, fuel card, iPad, and tools provided Paid drive time and paid training during ramp 40-hour guarantee when you hit 25 completed jobs per week
