Seeking an outgoing person with exceptional troubleshooting and customer service skills to repair consumer appliances. Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Prior experience is preferred but not necessary for the right applicant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Accurately troubleshoot all problems inherent to all major appliances Observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to detect hazards and need for adjustment relocation, or replacement Test continuity of currents to ensure electric compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter and amprobe Complete all required documentation, including but not limited to time cards, work orders, return material tags and gas receipts Coordinate with Manager in matters that are beyond authority or ability to handle Maintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, organized truck

Requirements:

Responsible to perform minor to moderately complex service of major appliances, in residential environments Valid unrestricted driver's license Advanced education degree, coursework, or tech school a plus EPA Certification Ability to complete written or computerized reports of installation with accuracy Pass all assessments/inventories administered during the hiring and training process Physical stamina, hand-eye, and balance required to perform all requirements of this position Strong customer service skills Able to problem-solve and follow detailed instructions Self-starter and able to work alone Must be 18 years of age or older Great Benefits, Great Company!
