In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential appliances across the property portfolio, including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and garbage disposals. This role ensures appliances remain safe, functional, and in service-ready condition to support timely unit turns and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair major residential appliances (refrigerators, ranges/ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, microwaves, and disposals), determining whether repair or replacement is the more cost-effective solution. Complete appliance service requests through Property Meld within established timeframes, documenting parts used, labor, and resolution for accurate work-order tracking. Install and uninstall appliances during unit turns and resident move-ins/move-outs, ensuring proper electrical, water, and gas connections meet code and manufacturer specifications. Maintain an organized inventory of common appliance parts and components, communicating reorder needs to the Maintenance Coordinator to minimize repair delays. Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections on appliances, identifying potential failures early and escalating gas, electrical, or water-related hazards per company protocol. Qualifications(Required) 3+ years servicing appliances
Valid Drivers License High School Diploma/GED Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
