  • Full-time, Apprenticeship Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Technician/Installer to join our dynamic field service team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction through expert service and professional conduct. Your hands-on mechanical skills, electrical knowledge, and ability to interpret schematics will drive your success in delivering seamless appliance solutions directly at customer locations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work independently while providing vital support to homeowners and businesses alike. Responsibilities Install new appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens according to manufacturer specifications and schematics. Troubleshoot and repair appliances using mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and diagnostic tools. Conduct equipment repairs, including refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks and assemble appliances or equipment as needed. Safely operate delivery trucks or box trucks for transporting appliances to customer sites while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience during every interaction. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Knowledge of schematics, electrical systems and refrigeration repair techniques. Prior delivery driver experience with a valid driver's license. Ability to read technical diagrams and perform assembly or disassembly of appliances confidently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Mechanical aptitude combined with electrical experience to troubleshoot complex appliance issues effectively. Field service experience is highly desirable but not necessary; willingness to travel locally for installations and repairs is essential.
