About the Role As a Field Service Technician specializing in Major Appliances and Cooling Systems, you will serve as the primary expert for restoring household equipment to peak performance. You will leverage your technical expertise to resolve complex mechanical and electrical failures, ensuring that every client receives reliable, high-quality service. Responsibilities Analyze and resolve complex malfunctions in refrigeration units, laundry equipment, and cooking appliances. Execute precise repairs and preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of customer equipment. Ensure seamless installation and calibration of new household units for optimal performance. Drive customer satisfaction by providing transparent explanations of technical issues and recommended solutions. Maintain comprehensive documentation of service history, parts inventory, and completed repairs. Continuously update your technical knowledge to stay ahead of evolving appliance technologies and smart home integrations. Uphold rigorous safety standards to protect both yourself and the client during every service visit. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent certification. Demonstrated professional experience in appliance or refrigeration diagnostics. Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical systems. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on efficient problem-solving. Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to service sites. Preferred Skills Formal technical training or vocational certification in HVAC or appliance repair. Experience with high-end or smart appliance diagnostic software. Proven track record of managing a high-volume service route independently.
