Job Description
Experienced Appliance Repair Technician - Commission Only Overview Join our growing team as an Experienced Appliance Repair Technician. We are looking for motivated, skilled technicians who can independently diagnose and repair residential appliances while delivering excellent customer service. This is a commission-only position ideal for experienced techs who want strong earning potential and flexibility. In this field-based role, you will service customers in their homes, troubleshoot appliance issues, complete repairs efficiently, and provide professional communication throughout the service process. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, cooktops, and microwaves Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical appliance failures Complete repairs safely and efficiently in customers' homes Provide clear communication and excellent customer service during service calls Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and completed jobs Manage daily service routes and appointments professionally Handle appliance installation or equipment setup when needed Operate company vehicle safely and maintain tools/equipment Requirements Minimum 2+ years of appliance repair experience required Ability to diagnose and repair major household appliances independently Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with refrigeration systems and sealed systems preferred HVAC or EPA certification is a plus Ability to read schematics and technical documentation Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to lift and move appliances when necessary Background check and drug screening will be performed prior to employment Compensation Commission-only pay structure High earning potential for experienced technicians Consistent service call volume Performance-based income Flexible scheduling opportunities Preferred Experience Refrigeration repair Sealed system work Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Bosch, or Sub-Zero experience Field service technician experience Why Join Us?
