In-Home Major Appliance Diagnostics Technician — Sears Home Services Picture your day: you start in Toledo, OH, route set, company vehicle stocked, and the industry-leading app guiding you to each customer's door. The refrigerator that won't cool, the washer that won't spin, the microwave that went dark — you diagnose fast, repair precisely, and leave a grateful homeowner with a working appliance and real peace of mind. What you'll do Travel to multiple homes daily across the Toledo area to diagnose and repair major appliances — refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves. Deliver a standout customer experience from greeting to goodbye. Offer value-added solutions that make homes cleaner, more comfortable, and better protected. Keep your service vehicle organized and parts managed efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned. Mechanical aptitude, including comfort with diagnostic and repair tools; prior appliance repair/diagnosis experience preferred. Ability to follow standard processes for quality workmanship. Smartphone proficiency, including ordering parts on-device. Valid driver's license in the state(s) you work and ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle. Ability to travel up to 100% and work variable hours with required overtime. Strong verbal and written communication; able to read, write, and speak English and interpret technical documentation to solve problems.
Physical capability:
constantly lift/carry/push/pull up to 20 lbs; frequently up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs. Constant reaching outward, handling/fingering, standing, walking, sitting, and typing; frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, stooping, climbing, and crawling; occasional reaching above shoulder. Experience 1-2 years of related experience. Travel Road Warrior (75% or more) with routes centered on Toledo, OH. Location United States — Toledo, Ohio.
