Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential appliances. All work is assigned on a per-contract / per-work-order basis. The more jobs you complete, the more work opportunities become available. Responsibilities Diagnose appliances including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and microwaves Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, motors, control boards, thermostats, and valves Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components Perform sealed system repairs when applicable Submit clear service reports and photos after each job Maintain professional communication with tenants and property managers Manage daily service appointments efficiently Skills Minimum 2 years of residential appliance repair experience. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Solid electrical experience related to appliance components and systems. Previous experience as a service technician or in field service roles is preferred. Customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. EPA Certification preferred (required for sealed system repairs). Own tools and reliable transportation. Valid driver's license.
