Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as a commercial Appliance Field Service Technician, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial restaurant equipment. This position offers the opportunity to work independently in commercial settings, utilizing your mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure equipment operates as it should. Responsibilities Travel to commercial locations to perform equipment diagnostics and repairs. Interpret technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct equipment repairs on equipment such as Gas ovens, Gas Fryers, Microwaves, Combi ovens and Conveyor ovens. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions for accurate documentation. Provide outstanding customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Operate company vehicle safely. Requirements Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong mechanical background in the restaurant equipment industry. Ability to read technical manuals confidently. Conduct equipment repairs on equipment such as Gas ovens, Gas Fryers, Microwaves, Combi ovens and Conveyor ovens. Strong troubleshooting skills combined with hands-on equipment repair expertise. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Physical ability to lift heavy appliances and work in confined spaces. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; experience driving a work van.
