Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Appliance Technician with plumbing and light electrical skills to join our field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances, plumbing systems, and electrical components. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive prompt, reliable service that enhances their daily lives. Responsibilities Perform appliance repairs including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and other household units using schematics and technical manuals. Troubleshoot plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions, ensuring proper installation and repair of plumbing systems. Conduct light electrical work involving wiring, circuit testing, and component replacement to restore appliance or system functionality. Interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Utilize a box truck or similar vehicle to travel to customer locations efficiently while managing delivery of parts and equipment as needed. Assemble appliances or plumbing fixtures on-site following manufacturer instructions and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction with every visit. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair, service technician roles, or related field service positions. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Basic electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing, and troubleshooting electrical components. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC components is highly desirable. Previous delivery driver experience using a box truck or similar vehicle is a plus. Ability to perform assembly tasks efficiently and safely in various environments. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck preferred.
