In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens. Responsibilities Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and hands-on inspection to identify root causes efficiently. Interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot complex problems accurately. Conduct equipment repairs and assembly tasks in customers' homes or designated work sites while maintaining safety standards. Utilize a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver parts or move appliances as needed for service calls. Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, answer questions, and ensure a positive service experience. Maintain detailed service records, update job logs, and report on completed work to ensure transparency and accountability. Skills Proven appliance repair skills with experience in diagnosing and fixing various household appliances. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Electrical experience relevant to appliance systems and HVAC units. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC components is highly desirable. Previous field service or service technician experience demonstrating customer-focused problem-solving skills. Delivery driver experience or familiarity with operating box trucks is a plus for logistical tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
