Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Technician to join our dynamic field service team! In this role, you will be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of household appliances. Your energetic approach will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering prompt, professional, and reliable service. Whether working independently or collaborating with team members, you'll play a vital role in restoring appliances to optimal performance and enhancing the lives of our customers. Duties Diagnose appliance issues using technical schematics, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience to identify root causes efficiently. Perform repairs on appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. Utilize tools and equipment repair techniques to restore appliance functionality swiftly and accurately. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair procedures. Conduct appliance assembly, installation, and testing at customer locations or in the field. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions for accurate documentation. Operate box trucks or delivery vehicles safely to transport parts or appliances between locations as needed. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and answering any questions professionally. Skills Proven experience in appliance repair with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams with confidence. Solid mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and HVAC systems. Previous experience as a service technician or in field service roles is highly desirable. Customer service skills that foster trust and satisfaction during on-site visits. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment is a plus. Delivery driver experience with safe driving practices using box trucks or similar vehicles. Basic assembly skills for installing new appliances or equipment setups. Knowledge of electrical systems relevant to appliance operation and repair.
