Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Delivery Helper and become a vital part of bringing essential home appliances to customers' doorsteps! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to assist with the safe and efficient delivery of appliances, ensuring a positive experience for every customer. You will work closely with delivery drivers and technicians to handle large, often heavy appliances, providing exceptional service while maintaining safety and professionalism. Duties Assist delivery drivers in safely loading, unloading, and maneuvering appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens. Help secure appliances during transit to prevent damage and ensure safe delivery. Support the team in navigating stairs, tight spaces, and challenging environments during deliveries. Conduct basic inspections of appliances for visible damages or defects before delivery. Communicate effectively with customers to coordinate delivery times and answer basic questions about appliance setup. Maintain cleanliness of delivery equipment and work area throughout the shift. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling heavy or bulky items, including proper lifting techniques. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or in field service roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of appliance repair, schematics, or mechanical systems enhances your ability to assist with troubleshooting or minor adjustments. Familiarity with refrigeration, HVAC systems, electrical wiring, or equipment repair is a plus. Customer service experience helps you provide friendly and professional interactions with clients. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly or electrical systems supports efficient appliance handling. Valid driver's license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is preferred. Previous roles involving appliance installation or service technician work are advantageous. $150.00 - $175.00 per day
