About the Role As a Residential HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a vital technical expert, ensuring home comfort systems operate at peak efficiency. You will diagnose complex mechanical issues, perform high-quality repairs, and provide homeowners with peace of mind through reliable climate control solutions. Responsibilities Execute precise diagnostics and repairs on residential heating and cooling systems to restore optimal indoor air quality and temperature. Maintain air handling units, ductwork, and condensation systems to prevent future failures and extend equipment lifespan. Deliver professional consultations to clients, clearly explaining technical findings and recommending necessary system improvements. Perform comprehensive system inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Document service activities accurately to maintain detailed equipment history and ensure seamless follow-up care. Collaborate with team members to resolve challenging technical obstacles and improve overall service delivery. Qualifications Required Skills 2-5+ years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service and repair. Current EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system components effectively. Physical capability to navigate tight spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 100 pounds. Preferred Skills Advanced knowledge of modern HVAC diagnostic tools and software. Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building client trust. Experience with high-efficiency system retrofits and advanced troubleshooting. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving industry best practices.
