What You'll Do (Lead Installer- HVAC) As a Lead Installer at Caswell Heating & Air, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient, and professional HVAC installations while leading your crew to meet company standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and manage installation crews on residential and light commercial HVAC projects Oversee full system installations, including split systems, package units, ductwork, and mini-splits Review job scopes, materials lists, and layouts before arriving on site Verify all equipment, parts, and materials are correct prior to installation Ensure proper sizing, placement, airflow, drainage, refrigerant piping, gas piping, and electrical connections Install systems according to manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local codes Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning Set airflow, charge systems properly, and confirm optimal performance Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Communicate clearly with customers throughout the installation process Answer customer questions and provide basic system operation education Coordinate with the install supervisor, warehouse, and office team Identify potential job issues early and communicate solutions Prevent callbacks through attention to detail and quality control Train and mentor apprentice and junior installers Hold crew members accountable for safety, quality, and productivity Complete job documentation, photos, and paperwork accurately Protect customer property and maintain a high level of professionalism Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies Represent the Caswell brand with integrity and pride on every job Performance Expectations Successful Lead Installers at Caswell Heating & Air are expected to: Deliver consistent, high-quality installations with minimal callbacks Start jobs prepared and finish them correctly the first time Maintain strong time management and job pacing Communicate proactively with management and customers Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized Lead by example in attitude, work ethic, and professionalism Uphold "The Caswell Way" on every installationSchedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtimeWhat We're Looking For:
