Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and execute repairs across a variety of multi family residential systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for our clients and their occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive service technician with a passion for mechanical systems and property maintenance to make a tangible impact every day. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, and other mechanical equipment to ensure peak performance. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Perform equipment repairs including HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning/refrigeration), appliance repair, welding, and boiler servicing. Install new HVAC components or systems following HVAC design specifications; interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks. Assist in the installation of new systems or upgrades while adhering to safety standards and building codes. Conduct property maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs and general mechanical upkeep to support overall building operations. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician in construction or property maintenance environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing, and appliance repair. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design principles is essential. Field service experience working directly on equipment repair in commercial or industrial settings. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus. Mechanic experience involving equipment repair and maintenance across various mechanical systems.
Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
