Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment across various property types, including commercial and residential settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and field service experience to deliver exceptional service and solutions that keep our clients comfortable and their systems running smoothly. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and related mechanical equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical problems or perform repairs as needed. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and ammonia refrigeration systems where applicable. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed; communicate findings clearly with team members and clients. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations during all service activities. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician with a strong background in construction environments or property maintenance. Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R systems—including air conditioning, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and appliance repair. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans accurately. Hands-on experience with equipment repair involving welding, electrical troubleshooting using ohmmeters, and mechanical repairs. Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC setups; experience with field service operations is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; a driver license preferred for field service routes. Additional skills such as welding certification, boiler operation knowledge, or mechanic experience are advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Pay:
$30.19 - $40.00 per hour
