Install Technician HVAC

Retro Installation & Start-Up Technician - CDL Mechanical CDL Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Retro Installation & Start-Up Technician to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. Position Responsibilities:

Install residential split systems, heat pumps, package units, furnaces, air handlers, and evaporator coils Perform complete system replacements and retrofit installations Modify and fabricate ductwork as needed for retrofit applications Install line sets, condensate drains, electrical whips, disconnects, thermostats, and related HVAC components Start up and commission newly installed equipment Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, static pressure, and overall system performance Complete installation documentation and startup reports Maintain professionalism and strong customer communication Work safely while following company and manufacturer installation standards Participate in overtime and weekend work as needed

Requirements:

Prior HVAC installation experience required EPA Certification required Must have own hand tools Strong knowledge of residential HVAC installation practices Ability to read installation manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications Experience brazing, pressure testing, evacuating, and charging systems Ability to climb ladders and work in attic environments Ability to lift and maneuver HVAC equipment and materials Positive attitude and dependable work ethic Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
