This role is responsible for diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality service to customers across multiple job sites throughout the Phoenix metro area. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in HVAC/R systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R system malfunctions efficiently and accurately Perform preventive maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems to maximize equipment lifespan and operational efficiency Inspect, maintain, and service HVAC/R equipment and associated building systems Utilize diagnostic tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics Respond promptly to service calls and prioritize assignments based on urgency and customer needs Prepare detailed service reports documenting work performed, findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions Collaborate with maintenance personnel, contractors, and customers to coordinate repairs and upgrades Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations Maintain clean and organized service vehicles, tools, and work areas Required Qualifications EPA 608 Certification required Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/R systems Experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC/R equipment Strong understanding of HVAC/R diagnostics, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical components Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites throughout the Phoenix area Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in commercial HVAC/R service Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and building infrastructure systems Additional technical certifications are a plus Required Skills HVAC/R troubleshooting and repair Preventive maintenance Commercial and residential HVAC systems Power tools and diagnostic equipment Plumbing and general maintenance Service documentation and reporting Customer service and communication Time management and task prioritization Safety compliance and OSHA awareness Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools as required Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and move throughout job sites for extended periods Ability to travel regularly throughout the Phoenix metro area Why Join Us Competitive compensation Career growth opportunities Stable and growing work environment Supportive team culture Opportunity to work on diverse HVAC/R systems and projects
