THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician at the journeyman level to join our team as we launch service operations in the Phoenix market. This is a solid mid-level opportunity for a technician who has the experience to work independently, handle a varied service workload, and represent WMI well in a new market. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Perform preventative and comprehensive system maintenance across all makes and models to ensure optimal performance and longevity Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on commercial and residential HVAC/R equipment Execute skilled repairs, system retrofits, and component replacements with a high standard of workmanship Respond to emergency and scheduled service maintenance calls with professionalism and urgency Serve as a reliable, self-directed technician on commercial and residential HVAC/R service calls Adhere to all company safety policies, industry standards, and applicable codes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required 5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC/R service experience EPA Universal certification Proficiency reading and interpreting HVAC/R wiring diagrams and technical schematics Strong mechanical aptitude with effective diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs.; perform overhead work; and perform crawling/squatting with or without reasonable accommodation Valid driver's license and clean driving record Preferred NATE Core certification strongly preferred Additional NATE specialty certifications a plus

Pay:

$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
