$37•41/hr Job Summary The HVAC Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and compressed air system equipment. This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all mechanical and HVAC equipment within the facility. Duties & Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and compressed air system equipment. Perform annual maintenance on chillers and air handlers, including: Recording unit running hours, condenser, and evaporator pressures Checking and recording compressor oil levels Replacing oil and oil filters Brushing condenser tubes Replacing system filters Perform preventive maintenance on compressed air systems, including: Scheduling and changing machine oils and filters Overhauling internal and external components as required Replacing defective or worn-out parts Lubricating required components per schedule Performing complete preventive maintenance Required Skills & Abilities Solid understanding of chilled water systems Knowledge of air compressors and associated systems Ability to read and understand machine maintenance manuals, operation manuals, and related documentation (paper and digital) Ability to coordinate with suppliers, parts departments, and contractors Operation of forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts; comfortable working at elevated heights Knowledge of, and ability to comply with, OSHA safety regulations and company policies Education & Experience High school diploma/GED required Completion of a technical apprenticeship or equivalent years of qualified maintenance experience EPA 608 Certification required Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
