POSITION SUMMARY
McCarthy is excited to hire full-time HVAC Technicians for our commercial team. McCarthy is looking for team members that have a proven commitment to safety and can be committed to a full-time schedule in Phoenix, AZ. Pay/Other Safety-First Mindset Competitive pay 7 paid holidays Medical, paid time off, and retirement savings available Key Responsibilities Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems and components. Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and equipment are in safe operating condition. Prepares documentation for written support and conveying information appropriately. Responds to emergency situations to resolve heating/cooling and plumbing issues. Operates heating/air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment, equipment startups. Create exceptional client experiences through strong relationships, knowledge of their business, and an ability to deliver impactful solutions. Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures. Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional or manager. Skilled specialist that demonstrates reliable judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations. Promote a positive learning environment in mentoring and directing of apprentices. Understand and implement lockout/tag-out procedures for safe and secure task(s) Qualifications 5+ relevant technical training or equivalent work-related experience Journeyman License preferred Comprehends technical information and blueprints for quick execution. Experience with RTU's, Boilers, MAU's, AHU's, Fans, Pumps, Cooling Towers, VAV/FPB's, Automation Systems, Chillers, Hydronic Systems, DX Cooling circuits and components. Demonstrates understanding of McCarthy Safety Guidelines and Procedures. Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings.
