ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC Technician / Department Lead to oversee and grow the HVAC division of an established plumbing and mechanical services company in the Phoenix, AZ area. This is more than a technician role - it's a leadership opportunity for someone who can run the department, drive new business, and deliver top-quality service to both residential and commercial clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee day-to-day operations of the HVAC department across commercial and residential accounts Coordinate technician scheduling, project timelines, and job completion Generate and follow up on sales leads to keep a steady pipeline of incoming business Perform and supervise HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance on residential and commercial systems Ensure quality control and code compliance on all jobs Represent the company professionally with clients and maintain strong customer relationships

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in commercial and residential HVAC systems Strong technical knowledge of HVAC repair, installation, and diagnostics Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Sales experience or a willingness to actively contribute to business development Excellent organizational and scheduling skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided) Arizona HVAC license preferred
