We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support facilities maintenance operations at a premier research and industrial site. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including refrigeration, controls, and building automation systems.

Pay:

$23.00- $30.00 per hour

DOE What You'll Do:

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC and environmental control systems Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and control system issues Service AHUs, VAVs, motors, and related HVAC components Work with building automation systems and HVAC controls Perform piping connections, leak checks, and minor mechanical repairs Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards

Qualifications Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED required HVAC vocational/technical training preferred

Required Experience:

Industrial or commercial HVAC experience (including refrigeration and control systems) Experience with HVAC troubleshooting and facility maintenance operations

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (including systems up to 480V) Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) blueprints Experience with HVAC controls and building automation systems (BAS) Knowledge of AHU systems, including motors, belts, sheaves, and bearings Experience performing preventive maintenance and system repairs Basic computer proficiency for job-related applications and systems

Required Certifications & Licenses:

Valid driver's license (required) Must pass background clearance (client requirements) EPA Universal Certification (preferred)
