Job Description
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Service Manager role based in Tucson. The HVAC Service Manager oversees daily service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating field technicians to meet customer needs and contract requirements. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring HVAC technicians, reviewing work quality, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and providing technical support on complex service issues. The role manages customer communications, prepares and reviews service estimates, supports budgeting and cost control, and helps identify opportunities for maintenance agreements and project upgrades. The HVAC Service Manager also collaborates with leadership, electrical, and plumbing teams to ensure integrated service delivery and continuous improvement of processes and performance. Qualifications Strong HVAC technical background, including commercial systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. Proven experience in service management or field supervision, including scheduling, dispatch, and workload planning. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop service technicians in a safety-focused environment. Solid customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial settings is highly beneficial. Familiarity with HVAC codes, standards, and safety regulations; commitment to safe work practices. Proficiency with service management software, digital documentation, and basic office applications. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical trade school, HVAC certifications, or relevant licenses preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site in Tucson, AZ.
