In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help keep our clients' facilities running smoothly, providing comfort and reliability through your proactive maintenance and technical prowess. Duties Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and plumbing components. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct field service visits to client sites to perform equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and system upgrades with efficiency and precision. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to test electrical circuits, repair mechanical components, and ensure system integrity. Diagnose complex mechanical problems using advanced knowledge of HVAC/R systems; identify opportunities for system improvements or upgrades. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs documenting work performed for compliance and future reference. Ensure all work complies with safety standards including proper handling of refrigerants like ammonia; operate a company vehicle responsibly following all driving regulations. Experience Proven experience as a service technician in commercial HVAC/R Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles, schematics reading, plumbing systems, refrigeration (freezers, walk-ins, ice machines ect) Mechanical knowledge of boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, welding techniques, and general equipment repair is essential. Field service experience working directly with clients in diverse settings; ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently. Familiarity with property maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs and general mechanical upkeep is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles is preferred.
