Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to support our team on a part-time/on-call basis. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who wants flexible hours and is confident working independently. You'll handle service calls, diagnostics, repairs, and installations as needed. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, including air conditioning units and boilers. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC system diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Perform refrigeration repairs involving ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) equipment. Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure system integrity. Maintain property by performing routine inspections of HVAC equipment, identifying potential problems early to prevent failures. Weld or perform mechanical repairs on HVAC components when necessary; operate welding equipment safely. Assist with HVAC design modifications or upgrades to improve energy efficiency or system capacity. Drive company vehicles responsibly to various job sites for field service operations. Document all work performed accurately in service reports and update maintenance logs regularly.

Qualifications:

Hands-on HVAC experience EPA Certification required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently without supervision Valid driver's license Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills

Pay:

$20.00 - $50.00 per hour
