HVAC Service Technician & Installer — $5,000 Sign-On Bonus North County San Diego (Carlsbad, CA) Pelican Heating & Air is a locally owned, growing HVAC company, and we're adding to BOTH our service and install teams. To welcome the right people, we're offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid out within the first 90 days to qualified new hires. Whether you're a service tech who loves diagnostics, a seasoned lead ready to run installs, or a strong installer looking for steady, year-round work — we want to hear from you. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for experienced pros who can hit the ground running. We're hiring for two roles: HVAC Service Technician Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems Perform service calls and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot issues efficiently and explain options to customers professionally HVAC Installer / Lead Installer Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork start to finish Leads run installs and mentor helpers; installers build skills toward certification Maintain clean, organized job sites and quality workmanship
