Lead HVAC Installer Job Description Join our team as a Lead HVAC Installer, where you will play a vital role in the installation of residential HVAC systems. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality installations while maintaining effective communication with clients, team members, and management. Responsibilities Install residential HVAC systems, including split systems, roof top package units, and ductless split systems. Perform basic thermostat wiring, programming, and start-up. Conduct copper welding and flare nut skills for HVAC installations. Flush copper lines, vacuum systems, and add refrigerant as needed. Install ductwork, including flexible, sheet metal, and spiral. Handle drain piping, gas piping, and flue vents, including sheet metal double wall and PVC. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Essential Skills Minimum 4 years of HVAC installation experience, specifically in residential settings. Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English. Valid driver's license. Authorized to work in the United States. Ability to submit to drug screening and background check. Must provide own hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE). Additional Skills & Qualifications Nice-to-have skills in electrical work.. Work Environment The work hours are typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional hours as needed. Lead installers, once proven reliable, will receive a company vehicle for work purposes. The working territory includes the LA Basin, from
SFV, SCV
to Los Angeles. Necessary tools include hand tools and PPE like hard hats, boots, and goggles, while shirts and vests are provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chatsworth, CA 91311. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
