HVAC Service Technician - Senior

Duties Conduct thorough diagnostics using specialized tools such as ohmmeters to evaluate electrical components and circuits. Perform precise repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Install, calibrate, and test new systems or machinery, providing detailed documentation of procedures and outcomes. Troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent, in company management systems. Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians to develop their technical skills and knowledge base. Communicate clearly with clients regarding service findings, recommended actions, and maintenance schedules to foster trust and transparency. Skills Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role with a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills to effectively explain technical issues to clients and team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments with minimal supervision. Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Relevant certifications or training in electrical systems or machinery maintenance are preferred.
