They happen in the evenings and on weekends - when both homeowners are home, the system just failed, and someone needs to walk them through real options. Most companies have no one available for that window. If you can diagnose a system, explain it in plain language, and close the right solution on the spot, keep reading. Elite Heating & Air Conditioning is a residential HVAC company serving the Sacramento area. We operate with a Comfort Concierge mindset - organized trucks, structured processes, professional presentation, and taking care of homeowners the right way. We are not a high-pressure, churn-and-burn sales shop. We're a close-knit team that does great work, has fun doing it, and treats each other like family.
The Role:
Comfort Advisor (Selling Technician) This is not a 9-to-5, chase-cold-leads position. You will run scheduled evening and weekend appointments and demand calls - the situations where homeowners are present, motivated, and ready to make a decision. You will perform the diagnostic, present repair and replacement options, and close that same visit. You own the customer from diagnosis to close. No handing your customer off to anyone. This is the power time frame for HVAC sales. You're in the home, the equipment is down, both decision-makers are there, and we can get the new system installed as soon as the next day. Compensation Performance-based compensation structure with strong earning potential for proven closers. There are many ways to structure the right package, and we'll build it around the right person. What We're Looking For Proven sales track record - real numbers, not just confidence (HVAC or any industry) Minimum 2 years experience in the HVAC trade EPA certification (required) Ability to perform a diagnostic and turn it into a sold replacement Strong, professional, personable presence in the home Someone who genuinely enjoys taking care of people If you want a typical daytime grind and don't like being measured on what you close, this isn't the position.
