Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience working specifically as a Lead HVAC Technician , overseeing both residential and/or commercial projects. This position plays a key role in supervising field operations, ensuring quality installations, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise and lead HVAC installation, service, and maintenance teams on job sites Coordinate with project managers, dispatch, and customers to ensure timely completion of jobs Perform diagnostic, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance services on HVAC systems (residential and/or commercial) Ensure all work complies with current codes, safety regulations, and company standards Train, mentor, and evaluate junior technicians and apprentices Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs Provide clear, professional communication to customers regarding job status and technical findings Oversee job site readiness, including proper materials, equipment, and staffing Conduct final inspections and quality checks to ensure system performance and customer satisfaction Serve as the on-site technical expert for complex HVAC systems and advanced troubleshooting Monitor and enforce safety compliance among crew members Assist in inventory management, ordering parts, and equipment maintenance as needed Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lead HVAC Technician ( not just as a technician or helper ) Required- please do not apply if you do no have at least one year of experience as lead. 1+ years overall experience in the HVAC industry preferred Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and procedures Valid driver's license Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus Join us as an HVAC Technician where you can apply your skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of our clients!
