Certification Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Job Summary An established HVAC and Appliance Repair company in Escondido is seeking a motivated and reliable Sr. HVAC Technician to join their team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least two years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry. They offer room for growth and advancement. Responsibilities Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Learn and apply HVAC industry best practices, standards, and safety procedures. Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Help diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues, under the supervision of a senior technician. Provide support with ductwork, refrigerant charging, wiring, and controls. Clean and replace air filters, coils, and other components as needed. Ensure all work areas are clean and organized before leaving the job site. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Completion of an HVAC certification program or relevant technical training is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and tools. Ability to learn and apply new skills quickly. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces or at heights. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Interest in air conditioning systems maintenance.
