As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to join our team and help shape the next generation of HVAC professionals. Job Summary As a Lead HVAC Installer , you will be responsible for overseeing and completing HVAC system installations. This role includes leading a crew, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and up to code, and serving as the go-to expert on-site. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise HVAC install crews on residential job sites Install ductwork, condensers, air handlers, furnaces, and heat pumps Interpret blueprints, layout plans, and design specs Coordinate with builders, electricians, and project managers Ensure all work meets local code, manufacturer specs, and Sonny's Air Conditioning standards Maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness Resolve on-site challenges quickly and professionally Perform quality control checks and ensure projects are completed on time Qualifications Minimum 3 years of HVAC installation experience (residential new construction strongly preferred) Minimum 3 years experience of commercial HVAC installation Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation standards EPA Certification Valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to read and interpret plans, shop drawings, and other forms of mechanical specifications Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $25 - $35/hour based on experience Company vehicle and fuel card (for qualifying roles) Apply Today If you're ready to take the lead in your HVAC career with a company that values experience, teamwork, and craftsmanship, we want to hear from you.
