Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with HVAC/R systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans. A valid driver's license is required for this position. The HVAC Installer will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' comfort and safety through expert installation and service. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate installation. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC/R equipment. Conduct service calls for system repairs, including appliance repair and property maintenance tasks. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose issues and perform repairs. Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems when necessary. Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and manufacturer specifications. Operate field service equipment efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment. Maintain detailed records of work performed for each project or service call. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope. Requirements Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in refrigeration, plumbing, appliance repair, or boiler maintenance preferred. Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles. Experience with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Knowledge of property maintenance procedures related to HVAC systems. Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites. Prior experience in field service or equipment repair highly desirable. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments requiring mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities. Pay:
$20.00 - $34.37 per hour
