HVAC & Refrigeration Technician A growing organization is seeking an HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and reliability of commercial and industrial equipment across multiple facilities. This position will play a key role in troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting operational uptime. Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control-related problems
- Perform component replacements, including motors, compressors, and related equipment
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to evaluate system performance
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
- Manage parts inventory and ensure proper stock levels of critical components
- Communicate effectively with operations personnel regarding equipment performance and maintenance needs
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Assist with training and mentoring less experienced technicians as needed Preferred Background
- Experience maintaining and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment reliability principles
- EPA Certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
