Responsibilities Manage and supervise the HVAC service team to ensure efficient scheduling, dispatching, and completion of service calls. Oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and related mechanical equipment. Review schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to guide troubleshooting and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards across all field operations. Coordinate with clients to assess property maintenance needs and develop tailored service solutions. Conduct training sessions on equipment repair, welding techniques, use of ohmmeters, and other technical skills. Maintain detailed records of service activities, equipment repairs, warranties, and inventory management. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic within the HVAC/R industry with a strong background in construction or property maintenance. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, boiler operation, and appliance repair. Ability to read schematics and HVAC design drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with field service operations involving equipment repair, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment essential for maintenance tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in air conditioning systems and ammonia refrigeration processes.
