In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal comfort, safety, and efficiency for our clients while supporting building automation systems and complex mechanical operations. Minimum 5 years experience, Pay is based on experience. Rotational weekend and after hours on call. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and building automation system layouts to diagnose issues accurately. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults in electrical components of HVAC equipment. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including leak repairs. Use welding techniques for equipment repair or fabrication when necessary to ensure system integrity. Maintain compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and performing necessary certifications. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and improve system efficiency. Document all service activities thoroughly in logs and reports; communicate findings clearly to team members or clients. Support property maintenance tasks as needed, including appliance repair or building automation system adjustments. Requirements Must have own tools including torch set and leak detector. Vehicles will carry a company supplied vacuum pump. Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC systems; prior service technician experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems such as pumps, fans, and refrigeration units. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately; familiarity with HVAC design principles is a plus. Skilled in electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters; knowledge of electrical wiring standards required. Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants; knowledge of building automation systems is desirable. Mechanical skills complemented by welding expertise; ability to perform equipment repair efficiently on-site. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred.
